Stanislav Mykhailovych Zabaluiev was a Soviet graphic artist. Born on September 30, 1928 in Kokand (Uzbekistan), he studied from 1943 to 1948 at the Penza School of Arts. In 1948-1954, he studied at the V.I. Surikov Moscow State Art Institute under Mykhaylo Cheremnykh. He participated in exhibitions starting in 1952. Zabaluiev created posters and collaborated with magazines ("Veseli kartinki", "Krokodil") newspapers ("Silske Zhittya", "Pravda"). He worked on illustrations for books from the publishing houses "Moloda Gvardiya" and "Dityacha Literatura". In 1964, Zabaluiev's works were exhibited in Canada. He died on October 10, 1964 in Moscow. In 1969, the artist's posthumous personal exhibition was held. His works are kept in museums in Russia and Ukraine.
