Yevhen Andriiovych Spitsevych was a Ukrainian graphic artist. Born on September 19, 1931 in the city of Kharkiv. Graduated from: Kharkiv State Art School (1958), Kharkiv Art and Industrial Institute (1966). His teachers were V. Poltavets, M. Slipchenko, V. Selezniov, H. Bondarenko, V. Myronenko. Worked in the field of easel graphics and book illustration. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1970). Member of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (1965). Exhibitions: republic starting in 1959, all-Union starting in 1966. His main works include linocuts "Ship Repairmen", "Port Workers" (1964), "By the Piers of the Dnieper" (1965), "Unforgettable" (1967); design and illustrations for the book "The Eighth Circle of Hell" by K. Boruna (1968), "Morning in the Port" (1964), "Father and Son" (1968), "On the Pier" (1971), "Cool Morning" (1974), "By the Pier" (1986). The artist's works are kept in museums and private collections in Ukraine. He lived and worked in Kharkiv.
