Morning over the River

Volodymyr Oleksiiovych Chervatiuk is a Ukrainian artist, painter, graphic artist, teacher. Born on September 22, 1950 in Kyiv. In 1968 he graduated from the republic Art School and entered the Graphic Department of the Kyiv State Art Institute (graduated in 1974, I. Selivanov's workshop). Starting in 1977 - a member of the Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR. Starting in 1995 - a senior lecturer, starting in 2010 - an associate professor of the Department of Painting and Composition of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture (NAOMA). He works in the fields of easel graphics and painting, creating thematic paintings, landscapes, still lifes. The artist is a participant in more than 120 republic, all-Union, city exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad. Among his works are a series of etchings, pastels, color engravings dedicated to border guards, sea and land training; paintings - "Morning", "Evening on the Island", "Forest Lake", "Flowering Tree", "First Rays", "Road in the Forest" , and many others. The artist's works are kept in the Exhibition Directorate of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, museums in Ukraine, Russia, as well as in private collections in France, Germany, the USA, Canada, China and other countries.
