Volodymyr Heorhiiovych Cherniavskyi is a Ukrainian artist, graphic artist, member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine from 1985. He was born in 1956 in Dnipropetrovsk (now Dnipro, Ukraine). In 1979 he graduated from the Kyiv State Art Institute with a degree in architecture. His teachers in the specialty were V. Bystriakov, Yu. Chekaniuk, N. Chmutina. He worked at the Zonal Research and Design Institute of Typical and Experimental Design of Residential and Public Buildings in Kyiv (1981 to 1995). Later - head of the Department of Theory, History of Architecture and Synthesis of Arts of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, professor (2021). He works in the fields of easel graphics and painting, creating landscapes and still lifes. Among his works are "Autumn Still Life" (1989), "Lupine" (1987) , and many others. He participated in many art exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad. His works are kept in museums and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
