Sergii Mikhailovych Markov was a painter, graphic artist. Born on November 7, 1959 in the village of Vavozh, Udmurtia, he graduated from the Ural School of Applied Arts (1980) and the Kharkiv Art and Industrial Institute (1985). His teachers by specialty were Yu. Poleshchuk and Yu. Vintaiev. Markov's main areas were easel painting and graphics. He created landscapes, still lifes, and portraits in a realistic style. A member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (2003), he participated in exhibitions: city, regional, and republic (since the 1980s). His main works include “Evening Service” (1997), “Autumn. Bridge” (2007), “Frost” (1999), the graphics “Winter Forest” (1994), “Evening Service” (1997), “Last Snow” (2003), “Bouquet of Bird Cherry”, “Sea Buckthorn under the Snow” (2004), “Malinovsky Meadows” (2007), “Poppies”, “Evening Ray”, “In the Parent’s House (Apples on the Table)” (2008), “Palm Sunday” (2009), “Grandpa” (2010), “Malachite Images” (2012), and “Lilac” (2013), and the paintings "Frosty Day" (1995), "Mariupol in Winter" (1997), "Father. Victory Day", "Sea of ​​Azov", "Frost" (1999), "Grandma's Things" (2005), "Fluffy Snow" (2008), "Bathroom under the Snow" (2009), and "Ice Drift" (2010). Markov lived and worked in Mariupol.
