Viktor Kyrylovych Haiduk was a Ukrainian painter. He was born on December 4, 1926 in the city of Zaporizhzhia. He graduated from the workshop of the Zaporizhzhia Society of Artists in 1957, where his teachers by specialty were H. Kolosovskyi and V. Stupin. Haiduk worked in the field of easel painting. The main themes of his work are the beauty and grandeur of nature, the history of the Zaporizhzhia region, and the construction, restoration and expansion of the Dnipro Hydroelectric Power Plant. A member of the Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR (1963), he participated in regional (1953), republic (1963) and all-Union exhibitions. His main works include "On the Dnipro" (1963), "Nova Matviyivka" (1964), "The Village as if Burned Down" (1964), "On the Renewed Land" (1964), "Native Land" (1964), "Earth" (1965), "Zaporozhia is Under Construction" (1967), "Dispensary "Zaporizhstal"" (1967), "Winter" (1968), "Spring" (1968), "Beyond the Dnipro" (1969), "Village of Joy" (1970), "Native Spaces" (1970), "Earth" (1971), "Lower Khortytsia" (1972), "Poltava Rye" (1972), "Poltava Spring" (1973), "Golden Autumn" (1974), "On the River of Dreams" (1974), "Spring on the Dnipro" (1974), "Spring" (1975), "Flowers" (1979), "Vegetables and Fruits" (1980), "Dahlias" (1984), "Flowers" (1985), "Poltava Region" (1987), "Peonies" (1989), "Autumn Leaves" (1991), "My Thoughts, Thoughts" (1991), and others. His works are kept in Ukrainian museums. He lived and worked in Zaporizhia and died on May 12, 1992.
