Zinaida Volodymyrivna Volkovynska was a Ukrainian artist. She was born on October 10, 1915 in the city of Odesa. She graduated from the Odesa Art School (1932) and the Kyiv Art Institute (1940), where her teacher by profession was F. Krychevskyi. She worked in the field of easel painting and book graphics. She participated in republic (1945) and all-Union (1949) exhibitions. Her main works include “Spring Fair in Kosovo” (1980), “Morning in the Carpathians” (1982), “Autumn Still Life” (1992), and illustrations. She lived and worked in Kyiv, and died on May 4, 2010.
