Oleksandr Ivanovych Lantukhov is a Ukrainian painter. Born on December 26, 1949 in Odesa, he graduated from the Kyiv Art Institute (1974), where his teachers included L. Vitkovskyi, V. Zabashta, O. Lopukhov, A. Plamenytskyi, and M. Khmelko. A member of the National Union of Ukrainian Artists (1977), he participated in regional and all-Ukrainian art exhibitions starting in the 1970s. His main works include “Fishing Sails”, “Sons. At Dawn” (both - 1973), “In the House” (1974), “Interior” (1975), “Clear Day”, “Letter” (both - 1976), “Time of Great Expectations”, “O. Bernardatsi”, “Sandy Shores”, “I. Babel”, “K. Paustovsky”, “V. Katayev” (all - 1977), “Men's Monastery”, “Pasteur Street”, “Odesa Courtyard on Moldavanka” (all - 1977-1979), “We Will Build a New World” (1978), and “Burlatska Ravine” (1979). His works are kept in museums in Ukraine and abroad.
