Halyna Serhiivna Hryhorieva is a Ukrainian painter. Born on April 27, 1933 in Kyiv, she graduated from the Kyiv Art Institute (1959), where her teachers by profession were I. Pleshchynskyi, S. Yerzhykovskyi, M. Ivanov, S. Hryhoriev, and V. Kasian. She worked in the field of easel painting and book graphics. A member of the National Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR (1965), she participated in republic (1959) and all-Union (1961) exhibitions. Her main works include the series "Children of the Ukrainian Village" (1961), "Good Morning" (1966), illustrations for the collection "And I Went to the Grove" by P. Tychyna (1963), "Fairy Tales" by the Brothers Grimm (1962), "Fairy Tales" by H. H. Andersen (1964), "Bathers" (1998), "Cuckoos" (2000), and variations on a theme by N. Poussin (2001), etc. She lives and works in Kyiv.

In the foreground there is a thin twisting tree with a forked trunk. Behind it there is a high hill, to the left - a ravine. On the far right there is the silhouette of the cathedral. The work is painted in light brown and pale purple tones.
