Heorhii Hnatovych Khadzhynov was a Ukrainian painter and teacher, member of the Union of Soviet Artists of Ukraine. Born on November 22, 1922 in the village of Ulakly (now Volnovakha district of Donetsk region, Ukraine). He participated in World War II. Awarded orders. In 1958 he graduated from the Kharkiv Art Institute. Teachers by specialty: O. Liubymskyi, Y. Karas, V. Syzykov. He worked in the field of easel painting. He taught at the Voroshylovhrad Art School. He participated in art exhibitions starting in 1960. Among his works are "Portrait of a Leading Welder L. Lysenko" (1960), "Spring" (1961), "Waiting" (1964), "In Starobilshchyna" (1967), "Portrait of a Miner" (1969), and others. He died on July 18, 1996. The artist's works are kept in some museums in Ukraine.
