Viacheslav Andriiovych Fedorov was a Russian artist, landscape painter, impressionist. Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1976). Born on December 21, 1918 in Ivanovo-Voznesensk (now Ivanovo, Russia). In 1934 he entered the Ivanovo Art School, which he graduated with honors in 1939. He participated in World War II. After being seriously wounded, he moved to Samarkand, where the Leningrad Academy of Arts was working at that time (he graduated in 1950). He taught at the Ivanovo Art School. He participated in art exhibitions starting in 1951. He traveled a lot. The master's most famous landscape cycles depict Baikal, Ukraine, and Central Russia. Among his works are "Spring Blows" (1981), "Autumn Wind" (1963), "August" (1976), "Early Snow" (1979), and others. His works are kept in many art museums in the post-Soviet space and in galleries and private collections abroad. He died on November 11, 1985 in Ivanovo.

Preservation:
At the top left there is a tear in the canvas with a diameter of 13 cm. In the upper part of the picture there are many small dents.

Green meadow with grazing goats and horse. Women with scythes, to the right there are stacks of hay. In the background there is a river. Along the shore there are village houses and trees. Bottom right - the author's signature.
