Ivan Pylypovych Tytov was a Soviet painter, marine painter, graphic artist. Born in 1902 in the village of Mykolaivske, Troitskyi District, Orenburg Province. In 1930 he graduated from the Higher Art and Technical Institute (Graphic Faculty). His teachers were D. Mitrokhin, V. Konashevych, V. Savytskyi. Painter. Landscape artist. Graphic artist. He was the chief artist of the magazine "Vognyk". Starting in 1932 he participated in exhibitions. People's Artist of the RSFSR (1969). His works are kept in museums and private collections in Russia and abroad. He lived and worked in Moscow. He died in 1983 in Moscow.
