Onufrii Terentiiovych Biziukov was a Ukrainian landscape painter and portraitist. Born on June 12 (24), 1897 in the city of Velizh, Vitebsk province (now Smolensk region, Russia), he graduated from the Mirgorod Art and Industrial School in 1917. From 1923-1929, he studied at the Kyiv Art Institute under Mykhailo Boichuk. From 1917, he participated in exhibitions. From 1920-1931, he taught drawing and painting skills at the Kyiv Art College. In 1935, he was arrested as a follower of M. Boichuk and was released in 1939. He participated in World War II. After the war, he lived and worked in Kyiv. A painter of genre and landscape paintings, he worked in the styles of impressionism and post-cubism. Among his works are "Old Kyiv" (1947), "Dnipro Fishermen" (1951), "In the Artist's Studio" (1959), "On the Kyiv Hills" (1966), "Orange Jug" (1967), and others. He died on March 15, 1986. His works are kept in the National Art Museum of Ukraine, and many museum and private collections in Ukraine.

Original. On the table stands a brown vase with yellow-red and green apples. On the left, on a green tablecloth, there are two yellow-red apples and one green apple. To the right of the vase, closer to the centre, on a bright green plate lies a watermelon cut into large pieces, with soft pink flesh and a bright green rind. The overall background is bright green. At the bottom is the artist's signature.
