Lev Mykolaiovych Shypovskyi was a Soviet painter. Born on November 2, 1915. In 1950 he graduated from the V. Surikov Moscow State Art Institute. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (1950). Participant of exhibitions starting in 1940, including all-Union and foreign. Among his works are portraits of O. Khachaturian, composer I. Dzerzhinsky, Yu. Yatsevich, N. Hranovskyi, the painting "At the Music School". His works are in museums in Russia. He lived and worked in Moscow. Died on February 22, 1965.
