Ivan Denysovych Bertiakov was a Ukrainian painter. He was born on October 10, 1923 in the village of Rybinka (now Saratov region, Russia). From 1939-1941, he studied at the Stalingrad Art School under L. Yemelyanov. He participated in World War II. He lived and worked in the city of Zhdaniv (now Mariupol). He participated in art exhibitions since 1951. He worked in the field of easel painting, creating thematic paintings and landscapes. Among his paintings are "In the Azovstal Port" (1960), "After the Battle" (1962), "Revival of the Blast Furnace" (1963), "Azovstal" (1964), and others. He died in Zhdaniv on October 28, 1985. His works were kept in the Mariupol Museum of Local Lore.

At the bottom edge of the picture there is a horizontal stripe of blue sea, with seagulls above it. Next - the green shore, a panorama of the plant. In the center there are the central passages of the Azovstal plant.
