Vitaliі Yakovych Shepetovskyi was a Ukrainian painter. Born on September 12, 1927 in the city of Koziatyn, Vinnytsia region. Graduated from the Kyiv School of Decorative and Applied Arts (1951), creating landscapes, still lifes, portraits and thematic paintings. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (1972). Participant of city, regional and republic exhibitions. His main works include "After the Escape", "A Trip to the Village", "In the Garden", "By the Well", "The Trypillya Tragedy", and others. works are presented in state and private collections of Ukraine and abroad. Lived and worked in Kyiv. Died in 1988.

Item description from the inventory book:
Original. In a forest clearing, a herd of cows is grazing. The yellowed grass and bare trees indicate the autumn season. Most of the painting is occupied by the blue sky. In the lower right corner, the signature reads: "V. Shepetovsky".
