Yakiv Hryhorovych Raizin was a Ukrainian artist, graphic artist, and member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine from 1967. Born on June 4, 1929 in the city of Bershad (now Vinnytsia region, Ukraine), he completed secondary education. His teachers in the specialty were O. Kechedzhi and M. Tykhonov. Raizin worked in the field of posters and monumental and decorative art. He was a participant of city, regional, republic art exhibitions starting in 1958. In 1967, he received the first prize at the republic political poster competition. He wasa member of the republic commission of poster art (1969 to 1979). Among his works are "We Won" (1968), "Taras Shevchenko" (1964), "Workers" (relief with mosaic, 1977 to 1979), decorative sculpture (concrete, 2005), and others. For the last decades of his life, Raizin lived in Israel. He died in 2015.

Preservation:
On the right, above, the top layer of cardboard has been scraped off. There are scratches and abrasions throughout the image. There is a horizontal stripe of broken cardboard in the center.

Close-up - a chest-length image of a white-haired girl from the front, in a red headscarf, with a sheaf of wheat. A little higher there is the young man's head in profile. On the chest there is a Komsomol badge. Below, the inscription: “We are the young masters of the earth.”
