Abram Yosypovych Veksler was a Soviet Ukrainian painter. Born on August 15, 1910 in the village of Kytaygorod (now Vinnytsia region), he studied at the Odesa Art Institute (1931-1936) under Yu. Bershadskyi, P. Volokidin, and T. Fraierman. Veksler worked in the field of easel painting and participated in exhibitions starting in 1948. He was a member of the Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR (1957). His main works are "To the Native Shores" (1957), "Odesa Port. Whalers Returned" (1960), the triptych "We Will Not Forget" (1961-1965), and others. The artist's works are represented in museum and private collections in Ukraine and abroad. Veksler lived in Odesa and died in 1982.
