Item description from the inventory book:
The Archangel is depicted standing 2/3 of his height. Facing right (3/4). The right hand is extended forward in a spiritual blessing, and the left hand holds a staff. The chiton is green with white highlights, the folds are written in gold and black lines. The himation is painted with pink paints in light and dark shades on a gold background. The halo is gilded with the inscription in black paint: “STY ARCH... HA...” The face and hands were rewritten, thin lines of the original drawing are visible under a thick layer of brown paint. The Archangel is depicted against the background of an interior painted in red with details drawn in white lines. The image is framed with a gilded field. The edges of the icon are outlined with thin lines of green and red.
