Kostiantyn Oleksiiovych Shurupov was a Ukrainian painter. Born on March 6, 1910 in Kharkiv. Graduated from the Kyiv Art Institute (1939). His teacher was F. Krychevskyi. Worked in the field of landscape, still life, genre painting. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. His main works include “Spring over the Dnipro” (1961), “Fires of Azovstal”, “Near the Dnipro” (1963)”, “Mariupol. Illich Plant”, “Mechanizers” (1967), and others. Participated in exhibitions: republic starting in 1947, all-Union starting in 1939. The paintings are represented in many state and private collections in Ukraine and abroad. Lived and worked in Kyiv. Died in 1985.

In the foreground is a forest clearing with narrow paths and groups of trees. On the left there is a small stack of grass, in the background there is a strip of forest and a cloudy high sky. Bottom right inscription in brush: K. Shurupov.
