Kostiantyn Oleksiiovych Shurupov was a Ukrainian painter. Born on March 6, 1910 in Kharkiv. Graduated from the Kyiv Art Institute (1939). His teacher was F. Krychevskyi. Worked in the field of landscape, still life, genre painting. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. His main works include “Spring over the Dnipro” (1961), “Fires of Azovstal”, “Near the Dnipro” (1963)”, “Mariupol. Illich Plant”, “Mechanizers” (1967), and others. Participated in exhibitions: republic starting in 1947, all-Union starting in 1939. The paintings are represented in many state and private collections in Ukraine and abroad. Lived and worked in Kyiv. Died in 1985.

An image of a seashore with large stones protruding from the water, on the right there are figures of 2 border guards with a dog, with rifles over their shoulders, with their backs turned to the viewer, one of the soldiers is looking through binoculars, in the background there is a narrow strip of stones protruding into the sea, on the horizon the sea merges with a strip of sky.
