Kostiantyn Oleksiiovych Shurupov was a Ukrainian painter. Born on March 6, 1910 in Kharkiv. Graduated from the Kyiv Art Institute (1939). His teacher was F. Krychevskyi. Worked in the field of landscape, still life, genre painting. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. His main works include “Spring over the Dnipro” (1961), “Fires of Azovstal”, “Near the Dnipro” (1963)”, “Mariupol. Illich Plant”, “Mechanizers” (1967), and others. Participated in exhibitions: republic starting in 1947, all-Union starting in 1939. The paintings are represented in many state and private collections in Ukraine and abroad. Lived and worked in Kyiv. Died in 1985.

In the foreground there is a river bank and trees. On the right there are one-story houses. In the center there is a wide river crossing the entire space of the canvas. In the background - the second bank of the river, silhouettes of trees, a narrow strip of sky. Signature of the author is in the lower right corner.
