Volodymyr Mykolaiovych Mysky-Ohlu was a Ukrainian artist. He was born on October 18, 1948 in Zhdaniv (Mariupol). In the 1970s, he studied at the art studio of the House of Culture of the Azovstal plant under the guidance of Ya. Nykodymov. He worked in the field of easel painting and graphics. He was a member of the creative association "Mariupol-87". He participated in all-Ukrainian exhibitions starting in 1976 and foreign exhibitions starting in 1991. Among his works are "Warm Grasses" (1976), "Memories of Rembrandt" (1990s), "Artist" (1991), "Evening Silence. Flowers in a Basket" (1993), "Self-Portrait" (1994), "Girl with a Dog" (1995), and "Dance with an Unknown" (2018). Some of his works are kept in the Mariupol Museum of Local Lore and in private collections in Ukraine, France, and Austria. Mysky-Ohlu lived and worked in Mariupol. He died on April 8, 2019.
