Stepan Petrovych Dzhus was a Soviet, Ukrainian, and Russian artist. An Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR and People's Artist of Ukraine, Dzhus worked in the field of decorative and monumental art. He was born on June 19, 1941 in the village of Kobylnya, Lipovets district, Vinnytsia region. In 1958, he entered the M.S. Samokysh Crimean Art School. In 1971, he graduated from the Kharkiv Art and Industrial Institute. Starting in 1971, he lived and worked in Yalta. He was a member of the National Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR (1976) and the USSR. His works include tapestries from the cycle "Crimea. Great Yalta", the stained glass windows "We Study, Work, Rest" (1973), and murals and paintings. His works are kept in museums and private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Germany, Austria, Japan, Canada, and the USA. Dzhus died on July 9, 2023 in Yalta.

Original. Diagonally from left to right stretches the sea, rendered in greyish-green tones, with a pier extending into it. On the shore, to the left, there is a beach with colourful awnings; to the right, buildings with bright roofs stand on a high stone foundation.
