Oleksandr Hranatovych Shpak is a Ukrainian painter. He was born on April 28, 1959 in the city of Zhdaniv (now Mariupol). In 1978 he entered the Mariupol Metallurgical Institute. In 1979 he interrupted his studies to become an artist. From 1987 to 1993 he was a graphic designer, created works of a decorative and monumental nature (decorative painting, panels, decorative sculpture). Then he became interested in easel painting. He works in the field of landscape and still life. He participated in over 40 exhibitions (city, all-Ukrainian, group and personal). Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (2000). His works are presented in the Mariupol Museum of Local Lore, in many private collections in Ukraine and abroad. He lives and works in Mariupol.
