Volodymyr Volodymyrovych Sizov was a Ukrainian painter. Born on July 13, 1946 in Leningrad. Studied at the Voroshylovhrad Art School (1961 to 1966), at the Kyiv State Art Institute (1966 to 1972). His teachers were V. Kostetskyi, V. Shatalin. After graduation, he lived and worked in Donetsk. In the 1990s, he moved to Tambov. Participant of all-Union and republic art exhibitions. Member of the Union of Artists starting in 1976. His works are presented in museums and private collections in Ukraine and abroad. He died on February 4, 2020 in Tambov.

Original. In the foreground, at the centre, there is a chest-high depiction of a young worker shown frontally, with his hands on his belt. He is dressed in a green work suit with a tool belt and a red shirt. On his head is an orange builder's helmet. In the background, against a greyish-blue backdrop, are the structures of a workshop.
