Valerii Mykolaiovych Yefimov is a Russian painter, graphic artist, and monumentalist. Born on November 7, 1943 in Orel. He received higher education. From 1966 to 1971, he studied at the Art and Graphic Faculty of the Orel Pedagogical Institute under L. Bylinko and A. Kurnakov. From 1971, he lived in Kamchatka. A member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (1975) and founder and first chairman of the board of the Kamchatka organization of the Union of Artists of the RSFSR, Yefimov participated in city, regional, zonal, republic, all-Union and international art exhibitions. He is an Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (1999). The artist works in the genre of thematic painting, portrait, and landscape. He was a member of the exhibition committee and a participant in the international art exhibition "In Memory of A.I. Kuindzhi" in Mariupol (2012). He has lived in Orel since 2003. His works are in collections in Russia, Ukraine, and the USA.
