Vasyl Mykhailovych Korenchuk is a painter, graphic artist, and a member of the Mariupol organization of the National Union of Ukrainian Artists since 2006. Born on August 25, 1950 in the village of Dzhurdzhivka, Novoushytskyi district, Khmelnytskyi region (Ukraine), he graduated from the University of Designers (1978), where his teachers by specialty were P. Kot and A. Bezbatko. Korenchuk works in the field of easel painting and graphics, creating landscapes and still lifes. He has participated in city, regional, all-Ukrainian, and international exhibitions, and has held about 50 personal exhibitions. Among his works are "Malofontanna Street" (1998), "Autumn Motive" (2003), "Evening on the Kalmius River" (2011), "Podilsky Evening" (2012), and others. His works are in museums of Ukraine and in private collections.

Cityscape. The painting depicts a street in Mariupol in the evening, illuminated by streetlights, illuminations, and windows of buildings. People are walking. The color scheme is dark with spots of yellow, red, and blue. Signature at the bottom right: "V. Korenchuk. 2008."
