Yurii Vasylovych Muraviov was a Ukrainian artist, painter, and member of the National Union of Ukrainian Artists starting in 1993. Born on January 23, 1934 in the village of Starokorsunsk, Krasnodar Territory, Russia, he graduated from the Kharkiv Art and Industrial Institute (1974). Muraviov worked in the field of easel and monumental-decorative painting, creating works in a realistic style. He was a participant of city, regional, and republic exhibitions. Among his works are "Still Life" (1990), "Monastery" (1989), "In the North" (1992), "New Boat", "Houses", and others. Muraviov died on May 5, 2000 in Mariupol. Some of his works were kept in the Mariupol Museum of Local Lore.
