Volodymyr Spyrydonovych Nenado was a Ukrainian Soviet graphic artist, teacher, and member of the Kharkiv organization of the Union of Soviet Artists of Ukraine starting in 1965. Born on March 16, 1935 in the village of Kozulka (now an urban-type settlement in the Krasnoyarsk Krai of Russia), he graduated from the Birobidzhan Art and Graphic School in 1954 and then taught there for a year. From 1956-1962, he studied at the graphic faculty of the Kharkiv Art Institute. His teachers were Hryhorii Bondarenko and Vasyl Myronenko. Starting in 1962, he taught at the Kharkiv Art Institute and the Kharkiv Art and Industrial Institute (he was an associate professor starting in 1973). He worked in the fields of easel and book graphics (linogravure and etching techniques). Nenado participated in republic exhibitions starting in 1963, all-Union exhibitions starting in 1962, and foreign exhibitions starting in 1965. He was awarded the silver medal of the International Book Art Exhibition in Leipzig (1967). He had personal exhibitions in Hanoi (1970), Kyiv (1987), and Kharkiv (1988). Among his works are graphic series "Based on the Works of Taras Shevchenko" (1964), "Requiem" (1968), and "In Vietnam" (1969), the etchings "To Life" (1972) and "Nocturne" (1972), and others. His works are kept in some museums of Ukraine. He died on August 13, 1981 in Kharkiv.
