Halyna Andriivna Nesterovska was a Ukrainian theater, film, and graphic artist and a member of the Ukrainian Union of Artists (1944). Born on December 15 (28), 1912 in the village of Kamyanka-Kostyantynivka (now Dnipropetrovsk region, Ukraine), she graduated in 1937 from the Kharkiv Art Institute, where her teachers in the specialty were B. Kosarev and D. Ovcharenko. She worked in the field of theatrical and decorative arts and participated in republic and all-Union exhibitions starting in 1945. From 1949-1966, she worked as a costume designer at the O. Dovzhenko Kyiv Film Studio of Fiction Films. Among her works are the scenery and costumes for the movie "The Girl from the Lighthouse" (1957), the ballet "Rostislava" (1957), the opera "Christmas Night", the movie "Among Good People" (1962), the movie "The Southern Cross Above Us" (1964), and others. She died on December 5, 1982 in Kyiv. Some of her works are kept in some museums of Ukraine.

In the center of the image — a stage partly revealed by the wings, on which a table is set and men in light shirts are seated at it. On the right — a wagon with a barrel. Bottom right — H. Nesterovska
