Yulii Petrovych Sheinis was a Ukrainian graphic artist and painter. He was born on July 9, 1935 in Kyiv. He graduated from the Kyiv Art Institute (1961). His teachers by profession were O. Pashchenko, S. Podervianskyi, and L. Chychkan. He worked in the field of easel and book graphics, easel painting. Member of the Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR starting in 1967. He participated in regional, republic and all-Union exhibitions. His main works include series of lithographs "Metal"; triptych "Born to Win" (1965); "Polo in the Fleet" (1966); illustrations for the novels "Asya", "First Love" by I. Turgenev (1968); for the poem "V.I. Lenin" by V. Mayakovsky (1969), and others. The artist's works are kept in museums and private collections in Ukraine and abroad. He lived and worked in Kyiv. Died in 2012.

In the foreground there is a meadow covered with light young greenery. In the distance on the left there is a haystack; a little farther on — a rider galloping on a horse. On the right side of the graphic sheet - a large green tree, behind it - dense shrubbery. One third of the sheet is occupied by an image of the sky with cumulus clouds.
