Petro Dmytrovych Kosovych is a Ukrainian artist, painter, graphic artist, and master of decorative and applied arts. A member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine, he was born in 1944 in Ivano-Frankivsk (now Ukraine). He created genre works and landscapes. His works are kept in the Directorate of Exhibitions of the Ukrainian SSR Art Gallery and in some museums of Ukraine.

Item description from the inventory book:
The newlyweds sit at the wedding table. To their left there is a girl, to their right - a young man. All are dressed in festive Hutsul costumes. Each holds a glass. A vegetal ornament winds across the golden background of the painting. Predominant are bright red and yellow tones.
