Iryna Mykolaivna Maslennikova was a graphic artist. Born on March 31, 1925 in Leningrad, she entered the art school at the Academy of Arts in 1939. In 1941, she worked in besieged Leningrad at a military factory. From 1942-1945, she studied at the Alma-Ata Art School, and then from 1949-1955, she studied at the graphics department of the Repin Institute. Starting in 1955, Maslennikova was a regular participant in art exhibitions in the USSR and abroad. In 1956, she joined the Union of Artists of the USSR. Her main works include the series "Leningrad Everyday Life", "Leningrad - Railway" (1954-1960s), "Collective Farm Everyday Life" (1983-1985), "Uprising Metro Station", "In Mykhaylivskiy Garden", and "Friends. Pushkin Square". Her works are in museums in Russia and abroad. She died on October 29, 2006 in St. Petersburg.
