Stanislav Vasylovych Vikhariev was a Soviet painter and graphic artist. He was born on March 3, 1924 in the village of Mytkovo, Vladimir region. From 1947 to 1953, he studied at the graphics department of the I.Ye. Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in the workshop of O. Pakhomov. He was engaged in easel graphics and painting. In graphics, he mainly developed the theme of the Leningrad cityscape. He also created a series of color lithographs with views of Novgorod. In easel painting, he gravitated towards genre compositions with a developed plot basis. He participated in exhibitions starting in 1954. The artist's works are in museums and private collections in Russia and Ukraine. He lived and worked in Leningrad. He died in 1981.
