Liubov Ivanivna Dzholos was a graphic artist, illustrator, and poster artist. Born on January 6, 1913 in Minsk, she graduated from the Kharkiv Art Institute (1936), where she studied under S. Hryhoriev, V. Kasiian, and M. Fradkin. Dzholos worked in the field of book and easel graphics and posters. She participated in republic (from 1939), all-Union (from 1950) and foreign (from 1963) exhibitions. Her main works are illustrations for the works of V. Mayakovsky (1936), T. Shevchenko (1938), and I. Franko's "When the Animals Were Still Talking" (1956); the series of engravings "So That The Gardens Bloomed" (1960); the poster "Let's Help" (1951), and others. Her works are kept in museums in Ukraine and Russia. She died in 1998 in Kharkiv.
