Volodymyr Fedorovych Holovanov is a Ukrainian graphic artist, painter, monumentalist. Born on September 4, 1924 in Baku, in 1952 he graduated from the Baku Art School, and in 1959 - from the Kyiv Art Institute. Teachers: I. Pleshchynskyi and S. Yerzhykovskyi. Starting in 1957, he was a participant in republic and all-Union exhibitions, and from 1959, foreign art exhibitions. A member of the Union of Artists of the USSR, Holovanov worked in the field of watercolors, monumental art, easel and book graphics. He illustrated the works of T. Shevchenko, P. Tychyna, L. Pervomaysky, and M. Lermontov. The artist's works are presented in museum and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
