Ruslan Mykolaiovych Saienko was a Ukrainian artist and graphic artist. He was born on February 23, 1933 in Tashkent (Uzbekistan). In 1951 he entered the Leningrad Higher Art and Pedagogical School. His teachers were H. Mordvinova, H. Orlovskyi, L. Oriekhov. He continued his studies at the Kyiv Art Institute. He graduated in 1966. His teachers were V. Kasiian, O.V. Danchenko, H. Yakutovych. Participant of republic, all-Union and international exhibitions starting in 1962. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1980). He also worked in the field of applied art (tapestry). His works are kept in museums and private collections in Ukraine and other countries of the world. He lived and worked in Kyiv and died in 2023.
