Oleksandr Petrovych Sulymenko was a Ukrainian painter. He was born on February 11, 1944 in the city of Zagorsk, Moscow Region (Russian Federation). In 1972 he graduated from the Kyiv State Art Institute. Member of the Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR (1976). Participant of city, republic, all-Union and foreign art exhibitions. The artist's works are kept in museum and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.

Item description from the inventory book:
In the foreground, a riverbank is shown with boats resting on the shore. Slightly further back, the river reflects buildings under construction and the pale yellow sun. The scene is painted in pastel tones. In the lower right corner, the artist’s signature is inscribed.
