Kostiantyn Hryhorovych Moshenko was a Soviet painter and graphic artist. Born on February 19, 1908 in Mariupol, he graduated from the Kyiv Art Institute, where he studied under F. Krychevsky (1929-1935). He worked as the director of the Mariupol Museum of Local Lore. In 1936-1937, he actively corresponded with I. Brodskyi about the creation of an art gallery in the city. Until 1959, he lived and worked in Mariupol. Moshenko created landscapes and portraits in oil paints and watercolors in a realistic style. He participated in city and regional art exhibitions starting in the 1960s. Among his works are the graphics "Shipyard" (1947), "Evening in the Port" (1951), "Belosaray Spit" (1960s), "In the Port" (1960s), "Return of Fishermen" (1960-1970s), "Summer Twilight" (1971), "Morning on the Sea of ​​Azov" (1972), and "Green Further" (1972) and the paintings "Azovstal Steelworks" (1952) and "Twilight" (1955). The last years of his life were spent in the city of Krasnodar. Moshenko died in 1974 in Krasnodar.
