Borys Oleksandrovych Yeromin was a Soviet Ukrainian painter and an Honored Artist of Ukraine (2009). Born on October 15, 1948 in the village of Uch-Tereksk, Osh region, Kyrgyzstan, he graduated from the Luhansk Art School (1969), where his teacher was T. Kapkanets. He was a member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine (1980). His works fall in the field of easel painting and thematic painting, landscape, and still life. The artist's work is characterized by deep immersion into the image and a subtle sense of color. His main works include “Red Saturday” (1980), “Still Life of September” (1986), “Jerusalem Studios” (1991-1992), “Old Cedar” (1992), “July Flowers” (1997), “Sunflowers” (1998); cycles - "Flowers" (1986-2003), "Carpathians" (1990s), "Svyatohirya" (1990-2007), "Jerusalem Studios" (1991-1995), and "Native Land" (1997-2008). Yeromin participated in numerous exhibitions, including foreign ones. He was a member of creative teams at the construction of plant 3600 (Azovstal plant in Mariupol), the Rivne nuclear power plant, and others. He lived and worked in Donetsk.
