Морська піхота

Yevhen Nykyforovych Isachenko was a painter and a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. He was born on March 5, 1926 in the village of Oyash (now Novosybirsk region, Russia). In 1973, he became a member of the Moscow Union of Artists. He participated in many exhibitions starting in 1964. He worked in the field of easel painting, in the genres of portrait, still life, landscape, and thematic painting. He had a personal exhibition in Kerch (1969). Among his works are "Kerch Woman" (1964), "In the Catacombs of Adzhimushkay" (1967), "Marine Infantry" (1969), "Girl" (1970s), "Thoughts" (1971), "Spring" (1973), and "Frontline Friends" (1974). He died in 2007 in Moscow. The artist's works are in museums of Ukraine and Russia, as well as in private collections.
