Синя ріка

Olha Yuriivna Kotliarova-Prokopenko is a Ukrainian artist, painter, graphic artist, a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1995, and an Honored Artist of Ukraine. She was born in Odesa on February 12, 1954. In 1974, she graduated from the Odesa Art School, where her teachers were Z. Borysiuk and O. Slieshynskyi. From 1977-1992, she worked as a designer at the Odesa Production Art and Design Plant. From 1993-2003, she was an artist at an advertising agency. Kotliarova-Prokopenko has been a participant in all-Ukrainian and international art exhibitions since 1977. She has had personal exhibitions in Uman (1977), Belgrade (1989), Odesa (1991-1993, 1995-2002, 2006, 2009), Mykolaiv (2005), Donetsk (2008), and Mariupol (2008). She mainly paints landscapes, as well as portraits and still lifes. The direction of her works is mystical realism. Among her works are "Lilac Blooms" (1977), "Dialogue" (1991), "Transparent Sky" (1994), "Golden Morning" (1995), "Flight over the Hills" (1999), "Swans" (2012), the series "Voice of the Sea" (1998), and others. 67 works of the artist are in the collections of 30 museums of Ukraine.
