Tetiana Mykolaivna Kuznetsova was a Ukrainian artist and teacher and a member of the Union of Soviet Artists of Ukraine starting in 1954. She was born on September 7 (20), 1915 in Moscow. During World War II, she worked as a medical instructor and was awarded the medal "For Courage" and the Order of the Patriotic War, II degree. In 1949, she graduated from the Vasily Surykov Moscow Art Institute, where she studied with Serhii Herasymov. During 1950-1954, Kuznetsova taught at the Mykola Samokysh Crimean Art School. In 1954-1970, she worked at the Crimean Art and Production Plant in Simferopol. She worked in the fields of easel graphics and easel painting, creating works in a realistic manner in the techniques of watercolor, gouache, pencil and charcoal drawing. Kuznetsova participated in republic and all-Union exhibitions starting in 1958. Among her works are the series of drawings "Partisans of the Patriotic War" (1957-1958), "Partisan Experiences" (1958), and "In the Steppe Collective Farm" (1960), the paintings "Construction of the Yalta Tunnel" (1961), "Northern Crimean Canal" (1966), and "Comrades (Fighters of the Moscow Infantry Destroyer Regiment)" (1969), and others. Some of her works are kept in the Simferopol Art Museum and some other museums of Ukraine. She died on May 7, 2008 in Simferopol.
