Yakym Davydovych Levych was a Ukrainian graphic artist and painter. He was born on February 16, 1933 in the city of Kamianets-Podilskyi. He studied at the Republic Art School. In 1960, he graduated from the Kyiv Art Institute (now the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture). A member of the Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR since 1967, he worked as an art editor of the children's magazine "Malyatko", illustrating works for children, in particular, by Hryhor Tiutiunnyk.
