Olha Petrivna Sliota was a Ukrainian painter. Born on May 17, 1947 in Kyiv. Graduated from the Kyiv Art Institute (1972). The workshop of T. Yablonska. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (from 1973). Worked in the direction of fantastic realism in the genre of still life and landscape. Her works are distinguished by their original style. She was also engaged in embroidery and lace making. Participant of all-Union and all-Ukrainian art exhibitions. She got an A. Kuindzhi Republic Prize (1973). Her main works include "At the Central Stadium" (1977), "End of Summer" (1985), "Gathering Roses", "A. Akhmatova" (both - 1987), "Still Life" (1988), "T. Shevchenko" (1989), "Still Life. Tomorrow to School”, “Once in the New World” (both - 1990), “K. Bilokur” (1991), “Self-Portrait with Cabbage”, “The Secret of Quiet Water” (both - 1992), “Evening” (1993), “Together” (1994), “Dinner”, “Hotel”, “Winter Flight” (all - 1995), “Muse” (1999), “Memory” (2000), “Things from an Old Chest” (2002), “Zagrebelly” (2004), “Fish” (2006), “Evening Conversation” (2012). Her works are kept in museums of Ukraine. She lived and worked in Kyiv. She died on September 20, 2019.
