Herluf Bidstrup was a Danish artist, graphic artist, and author of political posters. He actively worked in the 1960s-1970s. His works had an anti-war theme. Herluf Bidstrup's works were donated to the Mariupol Museum of Local Lore by the Graphic Artists Section.

Item description from the inventory book:
The cartoon is a story in pictures arranged in three rows. The characters are an American soldier and Vietnamese children. First row: the children watch him. Second row: they attack. Third row: they sit on the back of the lying soldier. Each child has a digit on his chest in the following order: 1969. At the bottom left - the author's signature and the date.
