Giulio Ruffini was a famous Italian graphic artist. A student of Luigi Varoli, he was born in 1921 in Bagnagnavallo (a municipality in Italy, province of Ravenna). He actively worked in graphic techniques in the directions of realism, modernism, and surrealism in the second half of the 20th century. Giulio Ruffini's works have been repeatedly exhibited at auctions. An exhibition of his works was held on the ships of the Azov Sea Shipping Company in the early 1980s. Afterwards, several works were donated to the Mariupol Museum of Local Lore. He died in 2011 in Ravenna.

In the background on the left there is a building, in the center - the sea with sailboats at anchor, on the right - a Roman column and a narrow strip of sky.
